The temperatures were not too high and the humidity was low. Our trek was very enjoyable, and although physically and mentally challenging the porters and guides took very good care of us. They were very very helpful.
The food was excellent; Victor was very knowledgeable and helpful. He spoke excellent English, and allowed hikers to travel at their own pace prior to meeting at sites of interest.
I would also suggest the water be boiled earlier in the trek and in the afternoon to provide drinking water for after lunch.
Cusco was a very enjoyable city, and Machupicchu was beautiful. Well worth the 4 day hike.
We would recommend Inca Trail Reservations to all our amigos and plan to. It is really fantastic.
