The first day of orientation at the Inca Trail Reservation office I had some doubts because I had a infection on my leg and shoulder. I asked Gerson if I would be ok to do the Inca Trail in my condition and also told him what the doctor would need me to do if I was to go. He told me not to worry and that he would make sure that I had everything that I needed.

After day 1 of the trek I asked him for hot water and he brought me some so I could change my bandages. Every day after he always asked to make sure that I was ok. I thought that was very kind and sincere that he was looking after me to make sure that I was ok during the 4 days of the trek. He is very knowledgeable and made sure that everyone was ok. The porters do an amazing job carrying the tents and food and having it ready before we reached the camp. The cook was very good. He made a cake for Amelia´s birthday which was very nice.

Once reaching Machu Picchu it was breathtaking. It was even better than I could imagine. It was the highlight of the trip for me. It was a long 3 nights of trekking to reach your goal. The trek was very challenging but it was worth it in the end to see Machu Picchu.

The only thing that I would like to see changed would be that the sleeping bags be a little wider so you can stretch and also the place mats could be a little wider.

I am glad that Gerson was our tour leader because he made it very fun and explained every ruin that we saw on the way. I would recommend your company to my friends and family.
