I learned so much about the Inka culture and the magnificent sites we saw along the way. All of the porters were also wonderful. They deserve so much credit for making this experience pleasant for us. They are the true heroes on this trip! Without them, we would not have survived it.
The hike was definitely physically demanding; however, seeing Machu Picchu was well worth it. It was more than I ever imagined it would be. It was breathtakingly beautiful. I will definitely recommend this to all my friends who are looking for self fulfillment and adventure! Thank you for making this an unforgettable experience for us.

My experience on the Inca Trail and Machupicchu was fantastic. Our trail guide, Roberto, was very knowledgeable about the trail and all of the archeological sites. On day two of the hike, which is by far the most difficult, two porters met my girlfriend and I on the trail with tea and bread and kept us company until we finished the days hike. I would recommend that everyone who likes hiking and history hike the Inca Trail . I would also recommend that you train before coming to Peru. We did very little and still made it through the hike, but a little altitude training would have been very helpful.
