Chat on WhatsAppI had an excellent trek. I have never trekked before, and was quite nervous, but Inca Trail Reservations made me feel comfortable and was available to answer all my questions. I was amazed at how varied the landscapes were throughout the trek, from countryside to Rocky Mountains to rolling green valleys. The staff was excellent, the food delicious, and the adventures plentiful. Machu Picchu itself was unlike anything I have ever seen before. It was truly a great experience both in the sense that I learned a lot about the land and culture of Peru, and about myself and what my body is capable of.
Almost everything met my expectations. Although I sometimes felt that communication regarding what to expect in terms of difficulty and weather conditions was not as clear as it could have been, my guides were great at encouraging us to push on and offering flexible options to cater to our needs. I was amazed by the staff’s skills, and am truly grateful for all their hard work.
In future, I would definitely recommend impressing upon customers the necessity of bringing waterproof shoes, gloves, and a raincoat. we were aware that it was going to be cold, but no one was ready for just how cold it was, or the steady rain and snow throughout the second day.
