To spend 4 days on the Inca Trail was an amazing experience with the highlight Machu Picchu on the last day. It is definitely better to enjoy the impressive Machu Picchu after having completed the trek then just going there by train.
Our guides Raul and Milton did a great job. They could tell us many interesting stories about the Incas and their culture and the whole group had a lot of fun with them. The walk on the second day is really hard but in the end it was absolutely worth it. During the whole trek you can enjoy beautiful views with mountains, valleys, the river and different Inca sites and on the third day you will even walk through the rainforest. It never gets boring and it is also a great team experience. For me it was impressive to see how hard the team of guides, cook and especially porters was working. I would recommend to everyone to do the Inca Trail with this company Inca Trail Reservations .because they have motivated guides who love their jobs, they offer perfect equipment and service and the cook is great, too. Every day they will wake you up bringing a cup of coca tea to your tent. That’s a great start in the day a 5.30 am. or 3.00 am in the morning. It was an unforgettable experience!!!!
