We started our great adventure at five in the morning, our guide David met with us at our hostel then a few minutes later a van came to pick me and three other friends. A hour and half ride to Ollantaytambo, then stop for forty-five minutes to eat breakfast and buy a few supplies before we headed out for another hour to the trail head. Our great adventure started on the trail head got our primits from David and then got them check, few pictures and off we went. The first day hike was amazing we went pass some ruins with the Inka people use for crops slowly making our way up to the highest peak "Deaths Women Pass" right went we got to Death Women Pass it started to rain. Though the rain didn't stop us from getting to Machu Picchu. Finally, after a couple of hours hike to our first camp site we made it! On Second day it still kept pouring, that didn`t stop us though we kept going.David our guide told us that the second day was going to be the hardest, but from me it was not, not until the third day which was a straight downward hike while raining. Again that didn't stop us! Finally, we made it after a three day down pour we made it.

Yes, it rain allot, we got all wet, we were very tired and didn't get the perfect picture that you see of Machu Picchu on the Internet, all sunning and clear. For me it wasn't about the perfect picture it was about the experience we got, being with friends, toughing it out and making it. That to me is a great adventured! Inca Trail Reservations was amazing it was more than what I expected.

David, our guide was great he waited for the very last person and kept our hopes up. The cook and the porters were amazing, they work very hard to have everything set-up before we got to the camp site.

To whoever thinks of book with Inca Trail Reservation, I really recommend them they did a amazing job.

Thanks you Inca Trail Reservation
