The Salkentay trek was very enjoyable, with some amazing views of the landscape and scenery. Good guides and service made life pretty easy outside of the hike each day.
Ability level open to most people with the ability to ease into it on day one. The optional hike up the Hill on day one is a must and definitely worth the effort. You reach an amazing lagoon with snow capped mountain background. Also works as a good warm up for the next day.
Day two is the bigger challenge climbing the Salkentay mountain. Again worth it once you are up high above the fog.
P.s. The warm soup at each meal is a crowd favourite, particularly early on when it's cold.
