Dear Inca Trail Reservations ,

Thank you all so much for the trip. It was more than I could have asked for. I had some friends that were in Cusco recently and did a single day trek to Machupicchu. They had a good time but realized that without a guide they did not learn much about the history of the Inca or Machupicchu . I was very happy to have Jerson as a guide. He had a lot of knowledge, treated everyone with respect and had a wonderful sense of humor. I cannot imagine doing the Inca Trail or going to Machupicchu without a local guide. I have done a lot of hiking and trekking in my life and this was one of the greatest experiences, trips of my life. We had incredible weather which was an obvious plus for the trip. Even when the weather was bad and rainy at times, the guides and porters did a wonderful job of helping all of the clients in the group with their personal needs. Many in our group had never hiked or even camped before and Inca Trail Reservations did a wonderful job of keeping us all together and making us feel like the trek was a group effort. I believe it was a positive experience for all the persons on our trek. It was very wonderful to introduce the porters to the group, as they did an amazing job and deserve much of the credit for providing the experience we had. We were fed well every meal and never went to bed hungry. A couple of the dinners had a bit too much salt for my taste, but it was made up with a great variety of food options. Rain gear warm wool layered clothes are recommended as is enough sun screen and extra batteries for all the amazing vistas. I will be telling my family and friends back in Montana USA that I had a wonderful time and that I would recommend Inca Trail Reservations to anyone considering doing the trek. Thank you Jerson, Inca Trail Reservations .
