Chat on WhatsAppThis trip was a last minute opportunity when one of my sons found out he would be sent to Lima by his employer. Knowing that I always wanted to see Machu Picchu, he suggested taking some vacation days so we could both see Machu Picchu. My other son, Nate, also indicated an interest and the adventure expanded to include the three of us.
The most significant thing to me about this adventure is that I recently experienced my 70th Birthday. I'm not in the best physical shape and started a crash program to get in shape. It wasn't sufficient. It was the most grueling experience of my life. But, the guide and staff helped and encouraged me throughout the adventure. They and the other clients combined to make this the most enjoyable experience of my life.
