Well chosen
These guys were great, took phenomenal care of us from day one. Extremely professional and patient as well as accurate with their information. When it would be easier to rush and prod, they smile and encourage. I had a knee problem unexpectedly and they were supportive and helpful beyond what would be considered expected or reasonable.

Champ trip
When we had our first meal, we thought it'd be simple ham and cheese sandwich but no, it was a delicious meal. Champ food. When we told our guides we were deaf, they didn't ignore us. Instead, they made every effort to write down us information and checked on us if we were ok. Champ guides.

Stairs !
When my wife and I were planning our trip to Peru we had a hard time picking between the train to Machu Picchu and a trek. We finally decided to trek it; picking a tour company was much harder. After a lot of research we decided to go with Inca Trail Reservations and we couldn't be happier.

Miracle weather in the rainy season
Amazing 4 day trip with amazing guides and an amazing group. We were so lucky with the weather even though it was during the rainy season. One quick thing though, prepare extra batteries because it is not given that you can recharge phones and cameras on the way... and get clothes that dry easily !

Not for the faint of heart
I was pretty worried about doing the Inca Trail because I felt that I was pretty unfit but the guides and porters were great and definitely made the experience better than I had anticipated. It was challenging, but at the same time luxurious.
The food was amazing. Each meal that was provided was so filling and delicious. And while ... Continue Reading →
Carlos’s crazy gang
From the word go, Carlos and the rest of the team at Inca Trail Reservations created a team atmosphere within the group. This helped us to initially bond and make new friends. These friendships also helped to joke and urge each other on in times where the walk was a bit taxing. The guys were also extremely helpful to those ... Continue Reading →
Conquering Machu Picchu with the king of the mountains
Our trek started with a very informative meeting with Carlos 'The King of the Mountains'. We were given an informative talk detailing the plan for the 4 days ahead. We also had opportunity to ask as many awkward questions as possible for Carlos to either dodge or claim he didn't understand... In reality he answered them all.

Unforgettable experience
The Inca Trail was a great experience. I highly recommend using a porter for day two though (unless you are Lebrun James). Our guide was really amazing, Raul was really knowledgeable about both the flora and the fauna and the history of the Inca empire.
We saw a lot of ruins, but the best was definitely at the ... Continue Reading →

We made it past Dead Woman’s Pass
We organised our trek very last minute and of the various tour operators we contacted, Inca Trail Reservations were by far the most helpful and responsive. Their online booking system was extremely easy and clear and the personal online space to which they uploaded our various tickets was really helpful.
As for the trek itself, our guide, Carlos, ... Continue Reading →
