Loco Salkantay
It was a great trek with awesome and diverse landscapes. Our guide Carlos is crazy but in a positive way. He made it a nice five days and so did the cook and the mule driver. We were very lucky with the weather, although of course it has been very cold the first two days. Harto frio en la noche ... Continue Reading →
Best trip
I had a great time walking the Salkantay trek. Loved all days. Food was wonderful, always enough. We were very lucky with the weather. First day it was hot and the mosquitoes already attacked. Make sure to pack enough sunblock and insect repellent.
Second day was though, had a lot of problems with the altitude despite spending three days ... Continue Reading →

Glamping at its finest ! Buckets of water to wash your hands before every meal; amazing three-course meals for lunch and breakfast; "tea-service" delivered to your tent every morning; meals under the protection of a tent (especially nice when raining); friendly porters to carry tents and food and set up and tear down camp every day (including lunch stops); cake ... Oh la la
My trek of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu was memorable to say the least. Our group had a fantastic guide, Carlos, who was there to help us through all of the ups and the downs (literally and figuratively). He was extremely knowledgeable and helped the group learn all about the significance of the places we visited. This knowledge helped ... Continue Reading →
The Inca experience
The Inca Trail was an amazing experience. The trip was very well organized. We received all the information that we needed prior to arriving in Cusco. Before leaving on the trip we attended an in-person orientation where we were able to ask questions about our trip.
Once we were on the trail, Carlos, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable ... Continue Reading →
Once in a lifetime Inca trek to Machu Picchu
Inca Trail Reservations is a fabulous company to guide you on the 4d/3n Inca Trail trek. The company was good at communicating beforehand (also, it has thorough info on their website), when we needed to add a sleeping bag and when one of our group could no longer go, they were easy and accommodating. Our flights also changed due to ... Continue Reading →

Amazing hike
It was a great trip but I am great that I didn't know the height of the mountains before... But with a lot of water and a good team spirit we made it all.

What a magic tour !
The trail was just great, exhausting, but many amazing moments. People were very nice, as well as our guide Carlos who built up the right team spirit and was always able to motivate us, even if it was raining.
The porters did an unbelievable job carrying all the equipment up to 4200m and down again. We sometimes even felt ... Continue Reading →
Machu Picchu via Salkantay
Continue Reading →
I would do it again
It was a great experience. We saw snow on the Salkantay mountain and there was heat in the jungle. So the trail got everything. The camping was good and the food along the way even better. They really arranged everything good.
The group we were with was great, it was mixed and that was good. The experience of climbing ... Continue Reading →
Great experience in Peru
Awesome and very luxurious camping adventure ! Very friendly and professional guide (Raul), incredible food (guacamole, lomo saltado...), snacks on the way, horses which carried our main bags. Sure, a little more expensive than other tours, but I don't regret it because of all the extras we got in exchange !
A lot of information about fauna and flora, ... Continue Reading →
Cool trek

The hardest four days of my life
I was greatly unprepared for the trek, not knowing much about what was to come, having no hiking boots or poles, or even a proper backpack. The weather was on the cusp of wet season so was very temperamental. I have bad knees for my age so had real problems with them, and contracted a bad case of gastro which ... Continue Reading →
