Thanks to Marcos for a great tour ! He was a great motivation for the many times I struggled. The campsites were a welcome sight at the end of every day. The chef cooked amazing food every night. Our fellow hikers became quick a family, and we loved joking with the guides. \”Just a few [minutes, miles, stairs]\” is definitely an understatement ! This was the most challenging thing I\’ve ever done, yet the most rewarding. It was well worth all the struggle just to see Machu Picchu just at sunrise.
