4 Days Looking for Machu Picchu

This was a wonderful adventure. We experienced every type of weather - snow, rain, heat, cold, wind and sun. Our group of six was led by a wonderful guide, Ever, and accompanied by the chief chef and his assistant. From day one we got along well together and enjoyed trekking along the valleys and mountains in the Salkantay area. The views were superb and the trail varied from easy to hard to tough. But our reliable guide encouraged us all the way. Along the way we slept in tents on comfortable mattresses. The morning tea in bed was a great way to start the day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious and provided the energy to get us through the day. After 4 wonderful days we finally reached our goal. What a great experience that I'll never forget.
