Chat on WhatsAppMy Machu Picchu Inca Trail experience was amazing ! 4 days and 3 nights. This hike was so rewarding when I was finished. 43 km of craziness ! And so many steps, especially the Gringo Killer steps, they were so hard ! We started out hiking Inca flats the 1st day, 2nd day were all the steps going up to 4200 meters to Dead Woman's Pass, it was so cool to reach the top and words cannot even explain the feeling knowing I was this high in Peru on the Inca Trail ! Then we had to hike so many stairs down to camp.
3rd day was mostly down hill steps, Inca flats and seeing Inca cities along the way to Machu Picchu. 4th we woke up at 3 am to hike to Machu Picchu ! Walked through the Sun Gate to see the beautiful Machu Picchu city. We toured through here for a while. I will always remember the great food, our great guides Paul and Ronny and the flying porters, me kissing a llama and my painful body after conquering this amazing experience ! Everyone needs to do this.
