The hike was always changing and challenged me to dig down and draw energy from Pacha mamma and my four day camp mates. Our guide Ronnie was extremely knowledgeable as he himself is a inca warrior. His graceful manner and patient presence Brought a calm and confidence which I carried with me.
The porters were our guardians, and providers. The food was amazing, tents perfect and campsites filled with beauty. When arriving to Machupiccu, I felt deeply connected to the earth, history and the inca people.
If you questions "should I do this" well the answer is "without a doubt.
