I really had a good time trekking the surroundings of Salkantay with a super nice group of other trekkers and an amazing staff team. Our guide was happy to spend his time with us, joked a lot and made us feel at home. Still he took good care off everyone and was helpful for example when two from the group had to skip a day due to altitude sickness, and then find their way to catch up a few days after. The food was brilliant, and the chief surprised us an spoiled us meal after meal. I\’d recommend this trip/route and the company Inca Trail Reservations to any fellow travelers and friends!.
