Adventure of a life time

I didn’t know what I got myself into ! At first the hike was starting off easy, but then we had to hike up to the lake. That was start of the altitude issue. Being by the ocean, I am not use to the altitude. It was a struggle, but when I got up to the top it was all worth it. It was so surreal, I couldn’t believe I was looking at a glacier. It was an awwww moment for me. Carlos, our guide, explained the rituals, it was awesome. The whole trip was a difficult adventure, but well worth it. There was rain and sun; we still hiked, we were drenched. Head to toe. The food was amazing and the people were awesome. The experience was great and an awesome learning experience. Peru is beautiful. I appreciate everyone that helped and the people that was part of the group, family.
