Chat on WhatsAppThe Inca Trail has been an absolutely incredible, once in a lifetime experience. We've seen all kinds of weather, from dry scorching sun to freezing mountain winds to downpours in the rainforest.
We've seen llamas and exotic birds and flowers. And we've seen the greatest heroes of them all - our amazing porters, chefs and guides, run past us through trail with as much as 30kg on their backs, all with a smile and the humblest of attitudes. This has been a fantastic adventure with abundant sites and views on the way - reaching Machu Picchu was merely a nice added bonus to the highlight which was the trek itself.
I'd like to especially thank the chef on my trek, Modesto, who accommodated my dietary requirements, and for working his magic at every meal. Thank you, Inca Trail Reservations !!.
