This is going to be hard to describe as it is definately a highlight of my life! From the scetchy roads twisting and turning from Cusco to where we finally got to start hiking, the scenery was beautiful.
The first day of hiking was fairly short and easy, and at camp our guides took us tarántula hunting after dark. Paul and Marco were excellent guides the whole way through. Up to Dead Womans Pass the next day was challenging but so worth it to reach the top! The 3rd day was the longest but not the hardest plus it was the most beautiful.
We had 16 people in our group and the guides and porters did an awesome job taking care of us.
They have me new inspiration what it means to work! And then to arrive to the city up in the sky was something unforgettable !.
