Altitude sickness

Make sure you get to Cusco 3 days before to acclimatize. It is miserable when you get altitude sickness, I honestly thought I was going to die. Arriving 12 hours before you leave is not the way to do it when you live at sea level. But in the end I did it and it such an amazing experience to finally arrive and see the history.

What an amazing place!!!!!!

The porters and the staff were amazing and they kept me alive when I thought I was going to die. The moment you see Machu Pichu takes your breath away. I would recommend Inca Trail Reservations to everyone.
