For me, this trek was a big endurance test but I am very happy to have achieved it.
Edwin and Marco were excellent guides and gave me, as a 60 year old, great support especially as my husband got sick just before the trek started and had to miss the trek. The scenery was magnificent, the food was good, the tents and sleeping bags were in very good condition.
The baños were terrible, very dirty and too far from our tents. Perú government needs to install 'long drop' toilets which are organic and not smelly. First breakfast place disorganized.
Thanks!
