Salkantay trek has amazing scenery!. The food cooked by chefs was delicious. Make sure to have lots of coco leaves and tea to keep altitude sickness at bay! .
Second day was the hardest but the most rewarding. The trick is to go slow and at your own pace.
The walk up to the glacier lake was tough and was very cold, but nice to put your feet in.
The hot springs on the third day was perfect after the tough second day. Worth bringing a water filter as water is expensive at the camp sites.
Definitely recommend this trek! .
