An adventure of a lifetime

I came to Cusco, Peru with a friend and did the Salkantay 5d/4n trek offered through the Inca Trail Reservations - Salkantay.org company. The experience was amazing! The views were unbelievable. We joined a fantastic group of 8 (7 girls and 1 guy) with 1 horseman, 2 cooks, and a tour guide.

The entire trek was awesome but strenuous. Meals well prepared, offered variety typed of food. My initial perspective of the trek was positive, but we ran into some issue (our trek was interrupted by local protest) thus caused us to take an alternative route. We didn't get to see the Hot Spring in Santa Teresa ... a bit disappointing.

Overall, I enjoyed my trek and will definitely recommend this tour again.
