He was encouraging from start to finish, constantly telling us we were "the best" group ever, which of course we know is true. His emphasis on us being his family set a great tone for the trip. He was very cunning in not revealing too much information about what lay ahead. If i had known what some of the sections were like before i was faced with them, it would have been more stressful. I would often ask, what is the next part like, how hard is it.
He would assure me, "not too hard, just a little hard, you can do it. You are the best." This was truly the hardest thing I have ever done, and I will always be grateful to Victor, William and Andrea for their support, their smiles and all they did to allow me to have a successful experience.
