The hike was difficult but very rewarding. I loved camping and hiking the Salkantay trek. Waking up to tea and fresh mountain air made the mornings much more bearable.

Every member of the crew was dedicated to making our experience pleasant and fun. They all worked nonstop, cooking, carrying gear, and making sure that we were happy and healthy. On the second day, it rained a lot, and one porter waded into a flooded portion of the path to make sure everyone could cross safely.
