The following morning we set off. All went to plan, Raul was an awesome guide and knew everything there is to know about wildlife, plants and history. He has been doing this trek for 11 years and done it over 200 times. He gives encouragement to the slower members in the group and wont let you give up. If you think you are struggling, stop have a sip of water and regain strength, take a couple of extra mars or snickers bars with you and you'll be fine.
The porters were amazing and woefully underpaid for the work they do, they have superhuman strength to carry everyhing, and the chef did an amazing job, you will not go hungry I promise, I came back fatter than when we set out!! i'm a vegetarian, no problem they said! cooked up 5 star vege dishes seperately!!.
I highly recommended company, very professional and cheap, delivered everything they promised, one happy customer :-D.
