This was definitely a new experience for me, and it was worth every second. I was able to share this adventure with one of my best mates, while making new ones along the way. My senses were overwhelmed from all the environments. I kept telling myself, \”I can\’t believe how big these mountains are,\” and I come from the Rocky Mountains. Our leader was quite knowledgeable and hard-working. He and the company went above and beyond with customer service. Tasting Peruvian cuisine was nice at every meal–be ready for sopa!. I would recommend this trek and company \”Inca Trail Reservations\” to anyone interested in a journey to Machu Picchu! .
