The journey was really good, even though the hike was especially challenging in terms of altitude, the porters and staff were very supportive and helpful to adapt to the changing environment, especially during the rain.
The food was great given the limitations, although if you do have food allergies it'll be great to raise it up before the trip begins. Best to prepare yourself if you need some training in altitude, personally it was quite straining on my knees.
But the view at Machu Picchu was amazing in the end. Hope some of you can join in the adventure in the future too.
