Chat on WhatsAppWe arrived at the welcome meeting and were greeted by a smiley face, a tour guide who became our best friend, motivating us through the difficult uphill treks and sharing useful information often!.
Although the trail is challenging, every session is worth the end goal when you see a snow capped mountain or an inca ruin with an in depth explanation from the guide. Also, the group works as a team, supporting each other throughout and waiting for Samantha and Jacky "the turtles" at the back of the group.
The food is scrumptious and the porters are so efficient and hard working to ensure everyone has the best experience possible. They are friendly and taught me a few Spanish sentences as well as assisting me with my heavy sleeping bag and mattress!
