This was a great trek. Our guides were so knowledgeable of the Inca history. I felt true magic and the spirits on this trail. This was so worth the pain and physical challenge. The food was excellent and I had a full tummy each and every meal. Our porters were some of the hardest working people I had ever seen. I will truly remember all of the people involved on this trek for ever. The Peruvian spirit is alive on the Inca Trail and in the hearts of these men. I hope to cross paths with them again someday or in another lifetime.
