Had an absolutely amazing Inca Trek! Our tour guide Victor was funny, informative and supportive. He adapted the pace and way we travelled depending on our abilities, told the history of the Incas along the way and shared personal views too.
The trek itself wasn't too bad, despite a particularly hard second day, the scenery and ruins you see along the route keep you motivated. And if that doesn't, the meals and drinks provided for you by the cook and porters when you arrive at camp will. The cooking was excellent given the conditions, tents spacious and decent sleeping mats provided definitely help get the best night sleep possible - just a shame they can't influence the toilets and shower facilities!
After an early start on day 4 and climbing the "gringo killer" stairs before the sun gate, you are rewarded with amazing views of Machu Picchu. Any leg aches or stiff joints all forgotten. Absolutely loved it!
