The early morning wake up was frantic yet exciting. After the bus ride to the drop off spot we were immediately placed into a team. The team environment was a good way to start the trek. Finding out where everyone was from was interesting. I enjoyed learning about the culture, history, and wildlife from the get go. The first night was great, being surrounded by horses, mountains, and the million star hotel. The wake up coca tea was unexpected and hit the spot. It was a great way to start to start a great day of hiking. The entire trip was made great by our guides. I could not say enough good things about these genuine good dudes.
