What a trip! Flora, Fauna, stunning scenery, and great guides: Paul and Jimmy. I was not prepared to be so impressed by such a beautiful country. Breathe taking scenic-rewards were earned through challenging terrain and difficult altitude difficult. Highlights included the Cusco City Tour, historical sites around Cusco, and Paul\’s informative and hilarious commentary. I highly recommend the optional 3 hour hike from day one base camp to Tucarhuay, a glacier lake, below Humantay Peak. AND most importantly…. D – dynamite trip I – I got altitude mountain sickness (AMS) A – alpaca steak M – mountains O – Ollantaytambo X – marks the spot (I out of to say and Paul wants me to finish)
