By foot and by horseback, Sexy Condors take flight

Our family was the Sexy Condors and our group was the Over 50 Sexy Condors. Two of us turned 50 this year and a trip to Machu Piccuh was the trip we planned to celebrate this milestone. From day one our group was family despite our differences in age and country. While we could not keep up with the three singing Italian doctors or the speedy Canadians we were allowed to go at our own pace and enjoy the beautiful country of Peru. We were well taken care of by Cha Chi and his whole team. The history and stories he shared were great. When I came down with altitude sickness he had all the solutions to get me back on my feet. I needed a horse to conquer the Salkantay pass and he arranged all of that. Simone provided me all the celery tea necessary to keep me healthy. The food was better than many restaurants and all the staff was helpful in every way. We are so glad we choose the Salkantay Trek. Everything was great and was an awesome way to celebrate my 50th birthday.
