I had not many expectations for the whole trail. I knew about Machu Picchu, but not about the trail itself and the story behind it. My husband convinced me to do it during our honeymoon and I'm glad he did it.
Marco did a great job guiding us through the trail. The views were breathtaking, it was nice to see all the inca sites and learn about them.
And the food! The food was amazing, I don't know how Oso managed to cook such a great food with amazing presentation in the middle of nowhere.
The chasquis were phenomenal, everything always ready on time, always there for any request.
About the trek itself, first day was nice and sunny, the second day was the big challenge and the third day was my favorite, despite the fog.
