When I needed a little comedic relief the guide was there to make jokes and encourage me to keep going. Once you get to the ruins it makes all the hard work you just went through worth the trouble. I was not prepared for this adventure but I did it, and it felt amazing! The food was better than any food I had since I have been in Peru for the last week.
I read reviews about the washrooms and was worried but they were quite clean for being in the mountains!.
I realized on the second day that I couldn't carry my bag and the option for more porters was there. If you are wondering whether or not to take the adventure with this company, you should.
