When people show you pictures of Machu Picchu, you appreciate the beauty – but you don\’t quite understand the big picture until you live it through a journey like this. I was completely blown away by the scenery, the culture, the history, and overall atmosphere that I was able to experience during the four day hike. As my uncle would always say, the only thing better than the food was the company (which is a big deal because the food was amazing). I wouldn\’t trade this experience for the world and I am so glad it turned out the way it did.
