Though there are a number of different treks that arrive at Machu Picchu, options for a relatively rugged experience are limited. This particular trek was the best of both worlds - breakfast, lunch, and dinner all exceeded expectations whilst the trek itself was more challenging than you might imagine.
Ramiro is a highly capable guide and the supporting staff - Daniel and Raul - were delightful. Admittedly, you can't plan for positive group dynamics but the guides do a good job at encouraging camaraderie amongst a group of otherwise disparate people.
All told, I enjoyed the experience. Words don't do it justice really. Thank god for emojis. 💃 👙💜 💠👥 💬 💗
