Don’t be a two-pole arsehole

Overall, I've really enjoyed the trek and visiting Machu Picchu, as well as the ruins along the way. Edwin was a great guide to do this with. The whole trek was very well organised, and the equipment was good quality. I think we were lucky to be in a small group of relatively healthy people so we also made good progress with the walking giving us the afternoon to rest which was great.

The key improvement for me is, although I enjoyed the food and it tasted good, please remember that vegetarians need protein (eggs, cheese, beans) with every meal as much as everyone else.

Things I'd suggest:

* recommend to trekkers packing a toilet roll;

* caution against flying with budget airlines that can't always land in Cusco! (We had problems, but thankfully arrived well before the trek)

* pack more coffee (we ran out)

* think a bit more about snacks which are advertised as part of the package but we just got biscuits, and one piece of fruit on one day
