The Inca Trail was a dificult but extremally rewarding hike. The veiws were beautiful and the guides, porters, and other hikers make for great company.
While some of the hiking was hard, especially dead womens pass, it wasnt too difficult as long as you take your time and trained a little in the weeks before the hike. Machu Picchu itself was an amazing site to behold, even more so after trekking through the mountins for four days. Of all the things on this trip the thing that suprised me most was the food!.
The meals the porters cooked for us were authentic, fresh, and tasted better than half the resturants in Cusco!.
