Excellent hike!!!

Day 1

An early start from Cusco taking us to the start at 82km. An amazing day with sun most of the time. Stop for lunch where the porters and the chef showed their excellent skills and our great guide Rony took us through the winding paths telling us interesting stories on the way. A clear sky at night so we could see the stars.

Day 2

The tough day we heard due to lots of uphill walking. It was challenging but not too bad. Personally the heavy rain that hit us was the biggest enemy. Despite all a really great day and a fun experience sleeping in tent with the rain smattering on it:)

Day 3

The weather gods were with us. No rain! The hike on the third day showed real beauty. The nature is absolutely amazing!!! Last night and also an early one since start would be at 3:30.

Day 4

Machu Picchu day. Rain.... At the sun gate - all white. No Machu Picchu in sight. But well there it brighten up and we got excellent views of the place. Absolutely amazing!! Five stars on this trip. It was all amazing!!! Loved it:)
