Experience of a lifetime

I thought the day trips to all of the Inca ruins would have prepared me for Machu Picchu. But as Machu Picchu comes into view, it takes your breath away. The trip was all that I had hoped for.

Carlos was an excellent guide; imparting great knowledge of the region and history of the Inca civilization. Pepito was wonderful as well. The food was excellent and nourishing after hiking. Sleeping arrangements were great. Bathroom facilities were ok, considering you are out in the wilderness.

Inca Trail Reservations did an awesome job putting our entire Peru vacation together, and the trek was certainly the highlight of the trip. Every aspect of the vacation and trek was put together perfectly and made for a great experience.
