Family adventure

As a little girl, our daughter Jenn and her dad spoke of going to Machu Picchu. This is the year ! And an amazing adventure it was.

We were warmly greeted by our guide Victor. We met two adventurous ladies who only lived five hours away from our home, a young couple from the eastern states, and two fun loving gentlemen from Holland. Victor called us "family" and very quickly we were looking out for each other.

I loved learning about the Inca culture and having the opportunity to experience a small taste of an amazing people. I walked, rode a pony, hitched a ride with the cook, rode the train... and tomorrow the highlight - Machu Picchu sunrise. Does it get much better ?
