Feet for thought

we were treated to some of the best landscapes possible, our guide was helpful and patient as we struggled through the grueling course.

Go on the trail you won't regret it but if you are a desk rat like me you will rue the decision to make that reservation till you board the bus to Agua calientes from Macchu Picchu.

I would unfair if I didn't mention the chef who travelled with us, treated us to great food considering everything was cooked in the back of a tent in not the most conducive weather for cooking, bless the little guy he even managed to pull out a cake for a friend celebrating her birthday.

Now I would be downright heartless if I didn't pay my respects to the porter community, the dudes are machines they start after you leave camp and reach and make camp for you before you arrive.

Their steady pace with backpacks is unreal and humbling. To sum the experience up I might not do it again but I am glad I already did.

P.S. Pack light... Pack light... Pack light..
