Fun in Peru

The tour was a lot of fun. The tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. The hike is a true test of one's stamina and desire to complete a difficult, physical challenge while taking in scenery that is awesome. One must be prepared to endure for extreme cold and extreme heat while adjusting to the increase in altitude.

I have completed many difficult and challenging hikes in the past, but the addition of hiking to over 4600 meters makes this hike a more strenuous experience. Be prepared to challenge yourself mentally and physically. The time you take to experience this hike is worth it. When you complete the journey you will have hiked through dry arid terrain, through alpine meadows, and through jungle-like conditions in the rainforest.
