Fun in the sun

The hike with Inca Trail Reservations was overall a great experience. The place was very accommodating for all parties and the food, sights, and company were very enjoyable. I am unsure of the limitations / restrictions for national parks in Peru, but more time and freedom to explore the sights would have been appreciated.

Day 2 was very difficult for someone with a doughy physique such as myself, coupled with high altitude the last half hour was very draining. Day 3 had a long down hill portion which was tough and brutal on the knees and shins. Overall it was a great experience during my time in Peru.
