Chat on WhatsAppThe 5 day/4 nigths Salkantay Trek was a great way to experience Machu Picchu and the impressive andean landscape.The tour was very well oragnized, transportations was always on time. The trek is very doable even for people who are not very experienced hikers as there are frequent breaks on the longer hikes.
Our tour guide was a very outgoing and knowledgable guy who always had a smile on his face and we had a great variety of traditional Peruvian dishes, vegetables and of course the daily happy hour which included tea, coffee, hot chocolate, popcorn and other snacks.
The tents and other equipment were very good to stay warm and dry even during the colder night in the mountains in the beginning of the trip. Overall it was a great experience and the perfect highlight of our trip to Peru.
