The food was surprisingly good!. I was expecting camping food, but our chef prepared a two course professional meal. Muy Bien.
The second day is definitely the hardest, as you climb dead woman's pass. On this day it is very common to be stricken with altitude sickness. Bring Pepto Bismol, it saved me. The second day I threw up twice, but if it was not for this medicine I would have thrown up many more times. The third and fourth day are just beautiful. The Andes mountains are huge and really quite amazing.
The Incan trail the third and fourth day is coved with the exotic plants and you feel like you are walking though the jungle in the movie avatar.
