The overall experience is fantastic. We encountered many beautiful scenarios and amazing Inkan ruins, plus many llamas. I\’m glad I didn\’t get high altitude sickness and finished the hike happily. We have been told that the second day is supposed to be the hardest out of the 4 day hike, and guaranteed it was hard physically. But the even more challenging part is going down mountain, which, for the record, is scary for me as I just had to figure out I\’m terrified of height at 4200 meters. In any event the view is well worth the sweat and the smell.
