My friend Scott told me he was going to hike the Inca Trail , but no one would go with him and the sign up deadline was fast approaching. I told him, \”You can\’t go by yourself\”, so I signed up with out doing a lot of research. I am 10 years older than Scott, so I had to prepare. Our spouses went with Scott and I to Colorado and Scott and I practiced climbing a mountain. That \”helped\” prepare us for the Inca Trail. The Inca Trail was awesome. It\’s very physical, educational, and beautiful. Do it while you are young! Get a porter! Scott is still my friend after the trip, but I am planning our next adventure. Sore but happy. Pat.
